Five driving schools in China's Hunan fined by local market regulator for price fixing

( September 2, 2022, 09:21 GMT | Official Statement) -- MLex Summary: Five driving schools in the county of Xintian have been fined by the Hunan provincial Administration for Market Regulation for fixing the price of their driver-training courses. The fines were equivalent to 3.5 percent of the companies’ respective revenues for 2018. The companies’ practice restricted competition in the market for driver-training services, the Hunan market regulator said in its penalty decisions dated July 4, 2022. The regulator opened an investigation into the case in June 2019.The statement follows and the penalty decisions are attached....
