Deutsche Bank fails to persuade EU's top court that Spanish consumers' cartel suit was time-barred

( March 15, 2023, 11:57 GMT | Official Statement) -- MLex Summary: Deutsche Bank has seen the EU's top court side with two Spanish consumers in a dispute over whether they were in time to bring a 2020 damages claim stemming from the Euribor cartel. The EU Court of Justice recited recent case law whereby the clock to bring a claim starts ticking from the moment the European Commission's summary decision is published in the Official Journal. "Such an approach is not affected by the fact that QJ and IP are consumers," the court said in an order made public today.The order is attached (in Spanish)....
