Croatia can allow higher maximum aid in some inland areas, EU Commission says

( March 15, 2023, 12:17 GMT | Official Statement) -- MLex Summary: The European Commission said that in parts of Panonska Hrvatska — an inland region of Croatia — the maximum amounts of aid for investment projects can be increased to 60 percent of the eligible investment costs. The commission has cleared an amendment to Croatia's regional aid map for the period between 2022 and 2027, to allow the country to further address regional disparities. The territories are defined in Croatia's Territorial Just Transition Plan, which the commission approved in December.Press release follows....
