Indonesian cattle businesses accuse government of creating unfair competition over imports

He said 39 Gapuspindo-member feedloters applied for similar licenses via online applications. Up until now, he said they haven’t received any response from the ministry, which abruptly awarded the licenses to Japfa Comfeed Indonesia’s unit Santosa Agrindo, AustAsia Food and Great Giant Livestock. The decision effectively creates an oligopoly, and Gapuspindo therefore would report the matter to the Business Competition Supervisory Commission, he said....
