Treat EU electricity market reform as priority, energy chief Simson asks EU Parliament

The reform improves “renewables’ investment conditions,” Kadri Simson said. It will make energy bills less dependent on short-term market prices; boost the use of renewables; and strengthen consumer protection, she said.
