NaviStone seeks US summary judgment against plaintiff, saying it never tracked him online

( May 25, 2021, 01:39 GMT | Official Statement) -- MLex Summary: NaviStone asked a US judge in San Francisco to grant summary judgment that it didn't violate any privacy law as alleged by plaintiff Jeremiah Revitch. "Revitch has no evidence that NaviStone ever linked any website browsing behavior to his identity," the digital-ads-retargeting company told US District Judge Vince Chhabria in a summary judgment motion. "In order to do so, NaviStone would have had to obtain his identity from Neustar Information Services, Inc. (“Neustar”). NaviStone and Neustar were contractually prohibited from sharing this information and no such information was exchanged, a point Revitch does not contest." See attached document....
