Zoom, Consumer Watchdog say they're making progress on US settlement

( May 24, 2021, 18:59 GMT | Official Statement) -- MLex Summary: Zoom Video Communications and Consumer Watchdog told a judge in Washington, DC, they are making "substantial progress" toward settlement of US privacy litigation brought by Consumer Watchdog. "The Parties believe that a global resolution of those matters could include resolution of this one as well and therefore request the Court’s indulgence for another extension," the two sides said in a joint statement, referring to parallel litigation in California that is also on a track toward settlement. See attached document....
