Total Recall Technologies partner not authorized to bring suit against Oculus VR unilaterally, judge rules

( June 16, 2016, 22:31 GMT | Official Statement) -- MLex Summary: US District Judge William Alsup has granted Oculus VR’s request for summary judgment against claims that its founder Palmer Luckey stole confidential information from Total Recall Technologies for use in his company's Oculus Rift virtual reality headset. Alsup found that under Ron Igra’s partnership agreement forming TRT with Thomas Seidl, he needs Seidl’s express consent to assert any claims on behalf of TRT; Seidl did not agree to file suit.  Alsup stayed the case to allow TRT the opportunity to cure the authorization problem. See document below. ...
