​Former Commonwealth Bank of Australia executive faces US fraud charges

( September 28, 2016, 04:52 GMT | Official Statement) -- MLex Summary: Former Commonwealth Bank of Australia executive Keith Hunter has been charged in US federal court for conspiring to fraudulently generate revenue for Santa Monica-based ServiceMesh Inc, which was being purchased by Computer Sciences Corporation. ServiceMesh allegedly gave Hunter and several co-conspirators kickbacks in exchange for service contracts with the CBA, allowing it to reach a performance goal that triggered a $98-million incentive bonus from CSC. Hunter recently pleaded guilty to similar charges in Australia. The Securities and Exchange Commission also filed a civil complaint against Hunter charging him with securities fraud....
