Speech: Neelie Kroes - Net neutrality in Europe

( April 13, 2010, 14:13 GMT | Official Statement) -- MLex Summary: European Commissioner for the Digital Agenda Neelie Kroes, has said that at this stage there is no clear need for additional regulatory intervention in Europe as regards net neutrality. According to Kroes, many of the issues are already addressed in "the new telecoms legislation adopted in 2009 and in the forthcoming Next Generation Access Recommendation".
