FTC seeks injunction pending appeal of Advocate-NorthShore decision

( June 16, 2016, 15:23 GMT | Official Statement) -- MLex Summary: The US Federal Trade Commission and the State of Illinois have filed a motion seeking an injunction barring Advocate Health Care and NorthShore University Health System from merging while they appeal a decision rejecting their bid for a preliminary injunction to block the deal. "An injunction pending appeal is necessary to preserve the status quo, which would otherwise be irreparably altered if the merger occurs during appellate review," they said.See document below....
