Indian antitrust regulator gives local clearance for Sanofi, Boehringer global asset swap

The deal was structured as an asset swap, with Boehringer taking over Sanofi’s animal health unit Merial in turn. Sanofi’s India-based businesses include human vaccines, pharmaceuticals and animal health.
