SBM renews warning of uncertain outcome in Brazilian bribery probes

( February 8, 2018, 10:51 GMT | Official Statement) -- MLex Summary: Dutch oil-engineering company SBM Offshore today warned again that it "cannot guarantee ... a satisfactory resolution" to several ongoing bribery investigations in Brazil. In December, Brazilian prosecutors filed a civil claim against the company after the collapse of settlement talks in October. SBM said it continues to seek clarification on the claim. It is still engaged in settlement discussions with other authorities in Brazil, but warned that the civil claim has made "satisfactory resolution more uncertain."Relevant excerpt from SBM's Full Year Results follows....
