Telenor gets additional antitrust charges from EFTA watchdog

( June 25, 2019, 07:33 GMT | Official Statement) -- MLex Summary: Telenor received a ''supplementary Statement of Objections'' on Monday, the EFTA Surveillance Authority announced, following accusations sent to the company in February 2016. The additional charge sheet is part of the watchdog's probe into whether Telenor abused its market power in the mobile-communications sector in Norway. The watchdog has dropped its formal investigation into breakage fees/clauses in Telenor's contracts with business users, and is now focusing on the margins available to competitors in mobile-broadband services offered to private users.
