Mofcom extends countervailing measures on imports of EU potato starch, pending review

( September 14, 2016, 03:19 GMT | Official Statement) -- MLex Summary: China’s Ministry of Commerce today said it has decided to launch a review of the countervailing measures imposed on potato starch imported from the EU, after receiving petitions from domestic companies. The review will examine whether the termination of such measures, which are set to expire on Sept. 17, will lead to a continuation or recurrence of subsidization and injury to the domestic industry, the ministry said.
