Anticompetitive practices in key sectors are enforcement targets for market regulator in China’s Guangxi

( February 23, 2023, 04:14 GMT | Official Statement) -- MLex Summary: Fixing prices, restricting production volumes and splitting sales territories in the building-materials, automobile and pharmaceutical industries will be targeted during a campaign launched recently by the Administration for Market Regulation of China’s Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region that will last until October this year. The Guangxi market regulator will also crack down on tying and imposing exclusivity requirements or unreasonable transaction terms by utility companies that supply water, heat, gas or electricity.
