FTC says third company would restore competition in real-estate data market

( March 24, 2014, 18:14 GMT | Official Statement) -- MLex Summary: The US Federal Trade Commission has published an analysis of its decision to approve -- subject to conditions -- the acquisition of real estate data supplier DataQuick Information Systems by NYSE-listed residential property professional CoreLogic. Given that the acquisition could substantially lessen competition in the market for national assessor and recorder bulk data, the agency said, it's encouraging the entry of another competitor.See the attached document....
