Judge allows Solodyn pay-for-delay case to go to trial

( January 25, 2018, 15:22 GMT | Official Statement) -- MLex Summary: US District Judge US District Judge Denise J. Casper has denied Impax Laboratories and Medicis Pharmaceutical’s request for summary judgment against direct purchasers’ claims accusing them of conspiring to keep a generic Solodyn off the market. Casper concluded that the issue of circumstantial evidence of market power, along with the question of what is the relevant market, should go to the jury because plaintiffs’ experts have provided quantitative analyses of sales and prices of Solodyn and its supposed competitors. Casper did grant the motion for summary judgment on market power, as to direct evidence only.See document below....
