US Commerce assigns preliminary antidumping duties on steel nails from India, Thailand, Turkey, issues negative finding on Sri Lanka

( August 3, 2022, 14:00 GMT | Official Statement) -- MLex Summary: The US Commerce Department has issued preliminary antidumping rates for certain steel nails imported from India, Thailand and Turkey between Oct. 1, 2020, and Sept. 30, 2021, and a preliminary determination that steel nails from Sri Lanka were not dumped during this period. Turkish companies have been assigned antidumping rates of 22.72-38.38 percent and Indian companies have been assigned antidumping rates of 2.91-3.97 percent. Thai companies have been assigned a 17.12 percent rate, with the exception of Jinhai Hardware Co., Ltd., which has been assigned a 65.87 percent antidumping rate based entirely on averse facts available.See documents below....
