Text of judgment on Roche, Novartis’s appeal of French antitrust fine published

( February 21, 2023, 10:15 GMT | Official Statement) -- MLex Summary: The Paris Court of Appeal has issued the full text of its judgment that sided with Roche and Novartis in their appeal of a landmark 444 million-euro antitrust fine. After the French competition watchdog sanctioned them for trash-talking a rival to a blockbuster eyesight treatment sold by Novartis, the court said there were legitimate doubts about the use of the rival treatment. Judges found the companies' communications to have been restrained, and overturned the fine.The judgment is attached in French. The case number is 20/14632....
