Chinese antidumping measures on Japanese, Singaporean, South Korean, Taiwanese acetone in final review

( June 10, 2019, 08:47 GMT | Official Statement) -- MLex Summary: China’s Ministry of Commerce has begun a final review of antidumping measures imposed on acetone imported from Japan, Singapore, South Korea and Taiwan, after receiving a petition on March 29 submitted by domestic producers. Acetone is an organic solvent used in various end-use industries including chemicals, pharmaceuticals and cosmetics. The review is expected to end by June 7, 2020. The ministry imposed five-year antidumping duties on the product in June 2008, and the measures were extended for a further five years in June 2014.The statement follows:...
