Experian sees UK GDPR appeal partly granted, must send privacy notices

( February 20, 2023, 09:39 GMT | Official Statement) -- MLex Summary: Experian's appeal against General Data Protection Regulation enforcement in the UK has been partly granted, but it must send privacy notices to people whose data it processes for direct marketing purposes, if it gets their data from open sources such as Open Electoral Register, the Registry Trust Limited or Companies House. It can send the notice by post, e-mail or text message, or via notifications through the open sources.
