UK Financial Services Authority: FSA publishes amount of redress paid to PPI complainants in first half of 2011

The redress - including ex-gratia payments and cases settled by the Ombudsman – saw 102 million pounds spent in May and June after the failure of the industry’s legal challenge to regulators.
