Comment: Indonesia's Telkom Group vindicated in approach to Netflix antitrust case

The regulator’s ruling yesterday clearing them of the antitrust charge vindicated their decision to staunchly defend their position, instead of trying to avoid a hearing and potential sanctions through an “integrity pact”. In July 2020, when Indonesia’s largest telecommunications companies — state-controlled Telkom and its mobile subsidiary Telkomsel — finally lifted their four-year block on streaming giant Netflix, there were speculations the move could have had something to do with the ongoing antitrust investigation into their action at the time. ...
