Hard coal distribution market reviewed by Polish antitrust watchdog

( August 1, 2022, 15:33 GMT | Official Statement) -- MLex Summary: Poland's antitrust watchdog is looking into the distribution and sale of hard coal. It has started an extensive market investigation, supported by the Trade Inspection Authority. The watchdog will look closely at the role of importers, distributors and intermediaries in the sale, including coal depot owners. The agency will analyze the market structure and relations between businesses as well as whether there are illegal arrangements or abuse of dominant position on that market, the authority said.Press release follows....
