Indigenous New Zealanders are more concerned about privacy issues, new survey reveals

In a statement accompanying the new research, the Office of the New Zealand Privacy Commissioner said that the total concern for individual privacy was higher across Maori respondents, along with the rate of those who had become more concerned about these issues over the past few years. The survey also found that Maori respondents were more likely to express concern about bias in facial recognition.
