Registration obligation of Chinese aluminium extrusions export challenged at EU court

( November 16, 2020, 17:07 GMT | Official Statement) -- MLex Summary: Guangdong Haomei New Materials and Guangdong King Metal Light Alloy Technology are suing the European Commission over its move to enable a retrospective imposition of dumping tariffs on aluminum extrusions. The commission has made Chinese exports subject to registration. The companies have told the EU General Court that the commission failed to identify the imports properly and that the request for registration was lodged by the European Aluminium Association which doesn't represent the whole EU industry as legally required.Official notice follows....
