Gotemburgo, Fortbras auto parts deal doesn't need CADE approval

( August 26, 2016, 21:00 GMT | Official Statement) -- MLex Summary: A plan by Gotemburgo Participações, held by private equity fund manager Advent, to buy stakes in five auto parts distributors held by Fortbras group doesn't need formal approval from the Brazilian competition watchdog, antitrust investigators said in a document disclosed today. Antitrust investigators found that the deal does not meet the prerequisite for reportable transactions. The decision is to be published in Brazil's Official Journal. The distributors are Javali Distribuidora Eletro Peças, Pegasus Autopeças, T-Brasil Distribuidora Eletro Peças, Soma Distribuidora de Autopeças and Total Distribuidora Moto Peças.OJ statement follows in Portuguese....
