UK traders to get early rulings on transparency exemptions, position limits

( September 28, 2017, 16:45 GMT | Official Statement) -- MLex Summary: UK bond and derivative traders will know before the end of the year if they are relieved from an EU requirement to publish price quotes, the Financial Conduct Authority has said. The UK regulator said it won't wait for guidance from the European Securities and Markets Authority to decide on pre-transparency waiver applications, but warned it may review its decision later. In a statement, the FCA added it intends to start publishing position limits on commodity derivative contracts traded in UK venues starting in October.The statement follows....
