Brazil antitrust agency removes EDA from IT cartel probe; adds two individuals linked to the company

( May 16, 2016, 13:24 GMT | Official Statement) -- MLex Summary: The Brazilian competition watchdog has removed IT company EDA Informática e Tecnologia from an alleged information-technology cartel probe, but included individuals Andrea Prado de Castro Lima Tavares and Adriano Barrocas Tavares, both whom are linked to the company. The initial investigation by CADE focused on alleged bid-rigging and other misconduct involving two companies: Scheiner Solutions Comércio e Serviços and WSO Multimídia e Informática.
