Delpaso Car Hire pays Spanish GDPR fine

( May 3, 2024, 10:49 GMT | Official Statement) -- MLex Summary: Delpaso Car Hire has paid a fine of 1,200 euros, imposed by Spain's Data Protection Agency for violating the EU's General Data Protection Regulation. When the complainant arrived to pick up a vehicle, their reservation was denied by the company due to a note made in their file, the watchdog said. The complainant requested access to their file, but Delpaso refused to provide any information, in breach of Article 15 of the GDPR, the regulator said.
