Federal judge rules against Cisco and Arista on motions for summary judgment in copyright and patent dipsute

( August 23, 2016, 22:44 GMT | Official Statement) -- MLex Summary: US District Judge Beth Labson Freedman in San Jose has denied both Cisco's and Arista's partial motions for summary judgment in Cisco's patent and copyright case against Arista. There are too many disputed material facts to resolve on summary judgment Cisco's claims that Arista illegally copied commands for Cisco's networking devices and that Arista's fair use defense isn't viable, she said.
