Masonite, Jeld-Wen fail to get out of antitrust case over interior molded doors

( September 18, 2019, 22:31 GMT | Official Statement) -- MLex Summary: Masonite Corporation and Jeld-Wen must continue to face claims accusing them of unlawfully limiting competition in the market for interior molded doors, US District Judge John A. Gibney said in an order denying their motion to dismiss. Gibney said that while plaintiffs have not proven that the companies made an agreement to fix prices, their allegations of parallel conduct and plus factors are sufficient to survive a motion to dismiss. Gibney did dismiss claims for damages for sales that occurred before four years from the date of the complaint due to being time-barred.See document below....
