Appeals court denies Google petition on 'Street View' data breach

( December 27, 2013, 18:57 GMT | Official Statement) -- MLex Summary: The US Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit on Friday denied Google's petition for an en banc hearing, thereby affirming a District Court ruling that preserved allegations that the search giant violated the federal Wiretap Act when its Street View mapping cars collected data from unsecured home and business WiFi networks.
