States suing to block T-Mobile-Sprint oppose request to hold trial over holidays or move up start date

( September 17, 2019, 22:31 GMT | Official Statement) -- MLex Summary: States seeking to block T-Mobile's plan to buy Sprint wrote to the court opposing a request from the companies either to hold trial during the weeks of Christmas and New Year's or to move up the start date from Dec. 9 to Dec. 2. If a third week of trial is necessary, the states said they prefer to have it the week of Jan. 6, but they will be ready to work through the holidays if the judge requires that. Either way, the states said they "strongly oppose" the request to move up the trial date, which would be unlikely to have any material effect on how quickly the case can be decided.See document below....
