Novell files petition for US Supreme Court review of dismissal of Novell PerfectOffice suit

( February 28, 2014, 23:31 GMT | Official Statement) -- MLex Summary: Novell has filed a petition for a review by the US Supreme Court of a Tenth Circuit decision finding that Microsoft's decision to remove certain software interfaces from the final version of Windows 95 after originally including them in a beta version did not violate antitrust laws. Novell argues that, at odds with court precedent, the Tenth Circuit applied a standard that would result in immunity from antitrust liability for a monopolist who refuses to deal if it is immediately profitable.See document below....
