EU winter gas supply outlook published by Transmission System Operators association

( October 16, 2024, 11:10 GMT | Official Statement) -- MLex Summary: Entsog, the European association of Transmission System Operators for Gas, today published its EU gas supply outlook for the coming winter. The document assesses the impact of weather conditions and a partial or total Russian gas supply disruption over EU gas reserves. In a “reference winter case,” Europe can reach spring 2025 with its reservoirs 40 percent full even without Russian pipeline gas, Entsog said. But in the event of full disruption of Russian gas deliveries — matched with a cold winter and very low LNG supply — additional supplies and a 15 percent cut in gas demand would help to reduce the risk of demand curtailment, the association said.Press release and reports are attached....
