CADE tribunal sends fuel-cartel probe back to the investigatory unit for adjustment

( January 4, 2018, 10:02 GMT | Official Statement) -- MLex Summary: The governing tribunal of the Brazilian competition authority has returned a fuel-cartel probe in Belo Horizonte to the agency's investigatory unit, because its opinion on the case fails to "expressly cite" all defendants included in the probe. In December, the CADE Superintendence sent a recommendation to the tribunal to fine fuel distributors and filling stations. The Superintendence now will make the adjustments required and refer the case again to the tribunal for ruling.OJ statement follows in Portuguese....
