Italian Competition Authority starts investigation into 12 railway supply companies

The authority suspects the companies operated a cartel from 2008 until at least 2011, with the intention of unfairly controlling  the supply of electromechanical goods and services in the railway sector. The companies are Applicazioni Elettriche Generali, Damiano Motor’s, El.Ca. Elettromeccanica Campana, Elettromeccanica Pm, Firema Trasporti, G.M.G. Elettromeccanica di Clavo Anna &C., M.E.I.S.
