Sony sees PlayStation controller probe resume in France as remedies rejected

( October 26, 2020, 14:24 GMT | Official Statement) -- MLex Summary: Sony's proposed remedies to allay French antitrust concerns on revised licenses it grants to produce PlayStation 4 controllers have been rejected today by the country's competition watchdog. After a preliminary investigation begun by the Autorité de la Concurrence in 2015 on Sony’s guidelines to tackle controller counterfeiting, the company proposed remedies last November to make its licenses policy more transparent. The regulator has said it will now resume its investigation but declined to give further details.Statement follows in French....
