Deutsche Telekom aims for 95 percent German 4G coverage by 2018

( February 26, 2015, 08:22 GMT | Official Statement) -- MLex Summary: German telecom incumbent Deutsche Telekom has said it aims to cover 95 percent of German households with 4G mobile services by 2018, compared to the population coverage at the end of 2014 of 65 percent. Deutsche Telekom also plans to bring broadband speeds of at least 50Mbps to another 5.9 million German households by 2018, bringing the coverage of “superfast” fixed broadband to 80 percent of households by then.
