Marui Sangyo warned by Japanese regulator over abuse of superior bargaining position concerns

( May 15, 2019, 10:00 GMT | Official Statement) -- MLex Summary: The Japan Fair Trade Commission has issued a warning against Hiroshima-based construction parts seller Marui Sangyo over suspected abuses of its superior bargaining position. The company had asked 171 of its suppliers to contribute to the cost of its company retreats every year from at the latest May 2015 to February 2019. It had also asked 19 of its suppliers to cover the cost of bonuses awarded to its sales reps.The JFTC's statement, in Japanese, is attached....
