Israeli competition watchdog trials fast-track merger approvals

( May 9, 2016, 14:35 GMT | Official Statement) -- MLex Summary: Mergers raising no competition issues will be fast-tracked for approval by Israel’s Antitrust Authority under a new scheme to be trialed for three months beginning May 8. These will be known as “ultra green” mergers and will have shorter proceeding times than the current 30 days for clearance.
