CFPB enforcement attorneys should be well-integrated into examinations, watchdog says

( December 18, 2013, 17:30 GMT | Official Statement) -- MLex Summary: The US Consumer Financial Protection Bureau should follow seven recommendations included in a Federal Reserve study as it integrates enforcement attorneys - some from different government agencies - into its examinations, according to a report released by the US Federal Reserve's Office of Inspector General. Recommendations include formally training the enforcement attorneys and determining whether they should be granted direct access to the institutions that the CFPB oversees, the report said. See documents below....
