China to combat IP infringements against foreign-funded firms

( September 18, 2017, 10:01 GMT | Official Statement) -- MLex Summary: The Chinese government has decided to launch a nationwide campaign from September to December this year to crack down on infringements of the intellectual property rights of foreign-funded enterprises, according to an action plan jointly issued by 12 ministerial-level departments. The focus of enforcement will be the infringements of trade secrets, patents and plant variety rights, alongside copyright infringements on the Internet.
