HSBC settles Yen Libor case, plaintiffs say

( May 5, 2016, 22:00 GMT | Official Statement) -- MLex Summary: ​HSBC has agreed to settle a case alleging that it was involved in the manipulation of the Yen London Interbank Offered Rate and Euroyen Tokyo Interbank Offered Rate benchmarks, a lawyer for plaintiffs said in a letter to US District Judge George Daniels. The bank has agreed to a binding term sheet, lawyer Vincent Briganti said. Briganti asked Daniels to suspend upcoming deadlines for HSBC in the case so the two sides can draft a formal settlement agreement.See document below....
