State attorneys general support federal 'patent troll' project

( December 16, 2013, 23:31 GMT | Official Statement) -- MLex Summary: A group of 43 state and territorial attorneys general have joined in bipartisan support of the Federal Trade Commission's proposed “patent troll" project to collect a significant amount of data and information about patent assertion entities. The attorneys general also suggest the FTC additionally inquire about the role of legal counsel who may play a central role in patent assertion schemes and increasing the number of PAEs and firms who are questioned. See document below....
