Shareholders, Braskem seek ok to settle FCPA-related suit

( September 14, 2017, 22:32 GMT | Official Statement) -- MLex Summary: Plaintiff shareholders and Brazilian petrochemicals company Braskem said they have reached a $10 million settlement in a lawsuit in which the shareholders claim Braskem misrepresented information about a bribery probe. Braskem, which is owned by construction company Odebrecht and state-owned Petrobras, was involved in the wide-ranging Lava Jato bribery scandal in Brazil. The parties have asked a US district judge to approve the settlement.  Please see attached document....
