In 2015, the regulator fined 11 animal feed producers a total of 77.3 billion won ($71.7 million) for fixing prices of their products 16 times between October 2006 and November 2010. Harim Group’s holding company, Jeil Holdings, and the group’s affiliates, Farmsco and Harim Holdings, received combined fines of 14 billion won. The group filed an appeal to cancel the fines. The Seoul court ruled the KFTC's evidence was insufficient. The KFTC has decided to appeal the ruling to the Supreme Court....
