China to exempt 16 types of US goods from additional tariffs

( September 11, 2019, 07:52 GMT | Official Statement) -- MLex Summary: A total of 16 types of US goods imported to China will be exempt from additional tariffs, which include some medicines, insecticides, animal feed and lubricants, according to two separate lists of products unveiled today by the Customs Tariff Commission of China’s State Council. The exemption will take effect on Sept. 17, 2019 and will be valid for a year until Sept. 16, 2020, the commission said. Additionally, 12 products included in the first list will be eligible for refunds on additional tariffs already paid; while the remaining four products involved in the second list are not eligible for tariff refunds.The statement follows and the lists of products are attached:...
